I absolutely love when a new beauty trend comes along, and the latest one of 2016 looks set to be a popular one. Say hello to ‘Monochromatic Makeup’, the art of keeping your eyes, cheeks and lips all within the same colour scheme.
This is such an easy look to create and won’t take you half as long as others. The trick is to keep your tones to red, orange, cranberry, brown, pink and beige to begin, starting with a neutral base and working from there with the rest of your products.
The Monochromatic Makeup look has been seen on many celebs including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Gigi Hadid. It also made an appearance on the Oscars Red Carpet of 2016 where Emily Blunt and Olivia Munn rocked the look!
I’ve recreated the look using these products:
- Inglot Eyeshadow #15 & #30
- Benefit ‘They’re Real’ Mascara
- Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette
- Sleek ‘Rose Gold’ Blusher
- Mac ‘Global Glow’ Highlighter
- Mac ‘Barely Bold’ Lip Liner
- Mac ‘Shy Girl’ Lipstick
